【信大連携ゼミのこと】

　本校には「信大連携ゼミ」と呼ぶ学習形態があります。年間５回ほど、大学ではよく行われているゼミ形式での学習をします。

　本年９月下旬にその第一回目が開かれました。本来であれば対面でのゼミが始まる日でしたが、新型コロナウイルス感染症の感染状況に鑑み、方法を変え、リモートでの「ゼミ入門」を行いました。

　昨年度、この連携ゼミを受講した現在の２年生に「学びへの意欲」を調査したところ、一般的には高校１年生から２年生にかけて「学びの意欲」が低下するところ、本校の現２年生は意欲が継続して高い位置にあることがわかっています。

　連携ゼミをその唯一の要因とするには慎重な検証が必要ですが、こうした新たな学習形態が学びの継続性、学びの深化に役立っている可能性があります。

　今回、この企画の担当をしていただいている秋本裕子先生（１学年担任、社会科）は、次のように言われます。

　「信大連携ゼミを通じて、生徒自身の「問い」を見つけてほしい。そして思う存分「問い」を楽しんでほしいと思っています。高校一年次に大学の先生と協働し、未来の自分のキャリアや社会を展望するきっかけになればと思っています。」

　この日の「ゼミ入門」を聞いたあと、多くの１年生がZoom機能のチャットを使って感想を入れてくれました。「今後のゼミが楽しみになりました。」「自分なりのメガネを持って、多様な視点や考え方を身につけていきたい。」といった生徒のメッセージからは、信大連携ゼミにとても期待している様子が伝わってきます。

　私自身、ゼミの概要を聞いて、どの分野も面白そうだなぁと感じたところです。生徒の感想は以下のチャットコメントをご覧ください。

　信州大学との連携ゼミは、県教育委員会による「未来の学校構築事業」の一環として行われているもので、深志高校は指定校６校のうちの１校として、「自治の追求により骨太のリーダーを育成する高校」とされています。

　その目標は「校是としての“自治”を問い続け、その理想をすべての場面で追求・具現化することにより、高い志や使命感、未解決の課題への挑戦心、学問的真理を追究する意欲等の資質・能力を身につけ、他者と協働して新たな価値や社会を創造できる骨太のリーダーを育成する」としています。

　この事業では、生徒自身が課題や連携先等を開発し実践する課題探究として、信大連携ゼミを位置づけるとともに、深志高校の教諭による「深志教養ゼミ」と連動して、自らの関心と社会課題をつなぐ役割を担っています。

　課題を発見しようとする姿勢、解決に向けて粘り強く取り組む姿勢、そのために学び続ける姿勢は、変化が激しく一つの正しい解が得られにくいこれからの世の中で、必ずや必要な資質になっていくことと思います。

   At the end of September this year the first-year students sat in front of their own computer, and listened to the live guidance of the seminar-style learning by each lecturer from Shinshu university based in Nagano prefecture.

   Although the students have already decided which seminar they will take, they seemed to have a very good time listening to the brief overview of all the seminars.  After the briefing many students left positive chat messages to the lecturers.(see the comments from the students in the file above.)

   This seminar-style program is a sort of project supported by the board of education to boost up the motivation of the students to study, eventually leading the school to a higher stage. (See the outline of the project on the website listed above.)

   The latest finding is that the second-year students at Fukashi on average still have high motivation for learning, even though most high school students tend gradually to lose their learning motivation as the years go on.  This seminar-style project might be the cause of the lasting motivation.

   Ms. Akimoto, social studies teacher, in charge of this project says, “I would like all the students to find their ‘own question,’ and enjoy facing it.  I hope this project will give them the chance to think of their own career and the society around them, with the help of the university professors accompanying them.”

   Inquiry learning, that is, to try to find a question, to work on it persistently to solve it,  is getting more and more popular these days, and is one of the important aspects of the learning process through which you live through this unpredictable and uncertain society in the future.
