陸上部 再び北信越大会へ】
校長通信163号でも紹介しましたが、本校陸上部には、いま勢いがあります。本年度秋の新人戦県大会で多くの生徒が入賞を果たし、その多くが10月22日から24日にかけて石川県で行われる北信越大会に再び挑みます。しっかりと調整して満足のいく大会にしてきてほしいと思います。
８月から９月にかけては新型コロナウイルス感染症の感染状況に鑑み、分散登校や、部活動の活動制限もあり、思うようなクラブ活動ができない中、集中して練習に取り組んできました。
９月下旬に行われた県大会の入賞者は以下の通りです。（名前の後の括弧は学年）
金古 廉くん（2） 男子800m 第１位（1分56秒53）
横澤 静也くん（1） 男子800m 第６位（1分59秒62）
重田 篤希くん（2） 男子棒高跳 第１位（4m66）
近藤 美波さん（1） 女子1500m 第３位（4分48秒30）

田中 千晴さん（2） 女子5000m競歩 第３位（30分04秒87）

２年生「金古廉くん」と「重田篤希くん」に、活動への思いをインタビューしました。
「OB会にも支えられ、伝統ある部活動を引き継いで次へ繋いでいきたいと思っています。月曜日には定例ミーティングをもち、部としての団結を大切にしています。自分たちが考える自主的主体的な部活動運営を大切にしているので、例えば、中距離の練習メニューであれば、仲間の様子を見ながら自分で作ったメニューで練習に取り組んでいます。
陸上の面白さは、長期的にコツコツとやると伸びが感じられることや、大会で記録を更新することで達成感を感じることです。北信越大会に初めて出場する選手もいますが、松本深志の名前が轟くよう頑張ってきたいと思います。」と話してくれました。
棒高跳びを専門とする重田くんは「指導する先生の記録を超えたい。助走やポールの持ち手などを改善していきたい。」と言い、中距離を得意とする金古くんは「スランプを乗り越え気持ちが吹っ切れている今、来年のインターハイ出場を目標にしている。」と目標を教えてくれました。

Our track and field team with its vigorous athletes has been doing its vigorous activity. Many got prizes in the prefectural meet in September this year, and most of them will go on to the next stage of competition held in Ishikawa prefecture from 22nd to 24th of October.
Under the COVID-19, they did not have time to practice to the full extent, but they ran and played in a concentrated manner so far. I would like them to do their best in the next competition as well.
Mr. Kaneko Ren and Mr. Shigeta Atsuki, both second-year students who succeeded the activity from the seniors, told me about what they had in mind.
They want to keep on managing the traditional club well. They do their activity proactively, like having their own regular meeting on Monday and making their practice menu on their own. They like track and field because they can feel the small change in them for the better as they practice every day, and also feel good when they renew their own record in the competition.
Mr. Shigeta wants to improve his jump to go beyond his coach, and Mr. Kaneko wants to win in Nagano next year to run in the interscholastic meet. Anyway they say they want to make the name of Fukashi heard in the stadium in Ishikawa.
